Nothing, not even a sniff since monday as I'm stuck in the middle of nowhere outside of Winchester with no phone signal, Wifi or internet. managed to borrow a connection just to have a look.

Back home tomorrow and have had word there are a number of packages awaiting.

Tonight I had one Quintero Maduro that G-Man had sent me. This cigar has a really decent look and the band steals the show. Smoking it was a pleasant experience and I am glad that Mike included five of them in the package.

I'd left a Party D1 out to 'dry' for a few hours before smoking only to come back to find the fucking cat had been at it!!! Little bugger had pawed it around the floor and split the wrapper....a bit of glue and it was as good as new...smoked perfectly..PHEW!!

'out to dry'? I am curious, what humidity did it come from and how long do you leave them out for and do you like to do this with all sticks or particular brands/vitolas?

monty no. 2 from 2000 - really not that impressed. like all the monty's ive tried they've started out very nice then get quite boring.
