Nothing as grand as Sy's but a nice Monte No 4 outside the pub in the cold night air .

        Partagas

Had my first ever Partagas D4 which I got from Monkey (Cheers again). Libation was Cabernet Sauvignon de Chile. Wonderful flavour, bit troublesome on the burn side but that's probably due to the Irish air. Packed a punch too
        Keep it country.

            evening all,
having finally received my h upmann magnum 50's in the post, i realized i have to make some room in my humidor! i've still a handful of RyJ no. 2's & mille fleurs to work through (12 in total), so i thought i'll give one of them a blast! having had quite a few 'quality' cigars recently (cohiba, partagas, bolivar, h upmann), i realised how crap RyJ's no. 2's really are! although it's burning well, the flavour's really quite..........flat! disappointing considering it's nearly 5 months in the humidor! i have decided that, under no circumstances, will i ever buy these ever again! great for some one starting off with habanos, but for someone who has experienced and appreciates much better and fuller flavoured cigars, these really are a waste of time (and money)!!!

            all the best,

            alex

Pre-embargo panatela. I wish there were more of these but they are all gone. My last one of a stash that has been sold out for years. I think I'm a little heartbroken actually.
Business in the front. Party in the back.

Nothing worse than smoking your last prized smoke, and know you are going to struggle to find more Larry.

Lovely Trinidad Reyes at JJ Fox, followed a little later by a HDM Petit Robusto at Casa in Wardour street on the impromptu Thursday afternoon smokem up in London walking tour.

Now I am off to modify my post about Smith's in Tottenham Court road rather sharpish!

A lovely nutty Petit Punch while driving back home from a meeting in York.

In the evening a Cuba Libre Unico, Ok but no fireworks there.
