Taking advantage of the nice weather and sitting out with a Rocky Patel Edge Maduro in the toro vitola. One of the most consistent, well made, smoothest full-bodied cigars that I have come across for around $5.
Damn damn damn, the problem with having two humidors is that sometimes you forge one of them.
I have been carefully tending my 'Cuban' humidor and forgot my 'NC' humidor with the result that when I went to select a George's reserve for my pleasure this PM I find that the humidity is way down and now I need some re-moisturising before I can enjoy it.

I was really looking forward to one too.
Go ahead and smoke it nic. The Reserve is a very forgiving stogie, well-made, and durable. When you say "way down" as long as it was in a reasonable range, say 60% or better, your Reserve will be just fine. Trust me on this.
had my first ever JL2 courtesy of a swap with Stevieboy. Hand on heart i found the midlle very enjoyable, coffee and caramel medium bodied but i have to admit towards the end it got quite spicy. Maybe i need to give it a better go when my chest/asthma settles, having just had the swine flu vaccine and been laid up for 2 days with feckin migraine did'nt help none.
Sorry Stevieboy oh master of the JL2 fanclub, i promise to pick my time better when i next light one up
I started out with nothing and i've still got most of it left - Seasick Steve
Just enjoyed an excellent, young (May 09) Trinidat Robusto T at JJF. Smoked it down to a nub and loved it (another one for the 'boxes to buy' list).
Had a great conversation with Stephan from the forum and look forward to his write-up on Jeans choice of stick for him. She was a fountain of knowledge today talking about ageing NC's and freezing all new sticks for 2 weeks.

Little medical correction there Steve, you will surely die...but not from smoking these
Was annoyed today that I could not meet Monkey and the other at JJ Fox today. Say at home, job hunting and bored looking at a totally empty weekend for the first time in a long time. I resorted to smoking in the kitchen and having a drink.
I had a NUB Habano and finished my first bottle of Puerto Rican Bacardi 151 proof (75.5%). Interesting combo, both strong.
"In Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love, they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock!"

Bah, missed this post Rok and now it's too late. Was at about 62% too so I would have been OK. Thanks for the feedback Rok, I shall enjoy it shortly.
