A Bolivar Royal Corona. First out of a box brought back from Havana.
I do like to finger-slit those seals.
Not as killer-strong as I like from, say, a Gold Medal, but all the sex I crave from a Bolivar was there in the final third.
Smoked off during a dramatic, howling gale down in my cloister. Alone with the dog. Brilliant.

A rather disappointing FdC Preferidos for me. I didn't want anything that would take too long to smoke, but this lasted half as long as it should have done. I chucked it because I could hardly get any smoke out of it, and basically got bored of trying. Harrumph.

hello all,
after a 'hard' evening painting my son's bedroom (again!!) i just had a PUNCH petit coronation with a couple of martell vsop cognacs! i bought this little cigar a couple of days ago from my local ASDA (of all places) and i was pleasantly surprised!!! to be honest, i found the flavours and aroma to be similar to the monte no.5 (note, it had a similar band!!!), only it's a little bigger (the bonus is, it's cheaper than the monte no.5 at ?6, and it lasts longer)! smoked it right down till about 3 quarters of an inch!!!! i will be buying more to leave in my humidor!!!
all the best,
alex
