Both sounding very nice there lads
Had a NUB Torpedo (Habano) earlier. Smoked fine but really should have left it in the lovenest a tiny bit longer. It's always tempting to fire a 'not had before' cigar up when they've arrived though."Go you good things...geddem int'ya"

Today was my wonky burning cigar day .
Had a RASCC (not yours CJ , this came from one of the Swiss internet shops) where the wrapper/binder just wouldn't burn; it kept tunneling and turning off every inch or so. I wasted so much time trying to keep this going that I didn't really notice the taste of the stick .
To make up for that I lit an Epi 2 which was better but needed touching up quite a few times. Not bad though.
One of those days I suppose .My Cigar blog: Cigar Review Rag

had a monte 4 and a hoyo coronation tube. both had their problems but put this down to the fact that it ain't stopped pissing down all day and too much moisture in the air.I started out with nothing and i've still got most of it left - Seasick Steve

I popped into asda to pick up a few smokes earlier this evening and purchased a few things I'd never tried before including a few Villager premium tubo which I fired up earlier.
I was not expecting too much from this cigar but when I finished it I was satisfied, so overall a good smoking experience. I'm new to cigar smoking and look forward to trying many more varieties. I hope to put in an order with cigar.com next month and try a few more that I've not sampled before.I am not a ginger.

Absolutely a great stock Stick...a must in any aficionado's humidor.
I always have a box of two in the ready.
What wrapper did you enjoy - natural, maduro, or the Claro?

I had a day trip to Berlin with a couple of friends. The flights cost, 2p, yes, 2p.
I hunted down the Casa in Berlin. I failed to get any pictures, sorry.
It is a nice place but I certainly would not suggest making a special point of going. The cigars are a little cheaper in comparison to the UK, but nothing amazing. A Hoyo DC is about eighteen euros. You pay the same in pounds in Sautters in London but usually about twenty two quid around London.
Whilst there I purchased two of the Bolivar 5at Avenida German Regional Edition cigars. There are two German RE's being launched in 2009. The 5at Avenida is a "109" format. That is a double robusto (50x184).
The other German RE is the Especiales No.2, a delicados format. That is a long panetela (38x192). I did not buy any of these, they did not look very exciting to me. Jimmeh and I will try the 5at Avenida and report back soon.
Whilst there I smoked the H.Upmann Magnum 48 Limited Edition 2009. It was ok, about as much of a non-event as the Magnum 46 I tried a few weeks back. I hope the Magnum 50 is more interesting.
T."In Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love, they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock!"
