i started the day with an upmann LE2009 magnum 48 after my first visit to tomtom in belgravia. great load of accessories and humidors there but not that extensive selection of smokes out front. beautiful girl behind the counter

the mag48, obviously very young but quite boring smoke to my taste. i remember getting a similar feeling smoking a maduro genios, hard to remember the taste but id say this has similarities but much lighter smoke. coffee and sweetness to taste. would love to try one several years down the line but id never invest in a box to age.
bought another aged lusitania, this one from '99. the last one from '97 i smoked is by far the best and most complex cigar i've ever had. wrapper seems darker on this one.

plodded over to jjfox and bought a punch DC, SLR serie A and an RA gigantes, all from the vintage section. (best way to buy singles in london!)

SLR A from '99 i sampled in JJs. a light smoke to start, then became more full-bodied, smoke through the nose reminded me very much of bolivar, floral/perfumed. not too impressed.

finished off with a '97 punch DC. beautiful smoke. incredibly light to start off with then the punch flavour sneaks in. i love prominentes for the way they transform and almost change completely throughout the smoke but this punch DC... it just gets more and more like a punch! louder and louder. i love the flavour profile of punches. damn great smoke!

For me today a Casa Magna Toro that was gifted me by the very generous G-man, and I've just finshed my evening off with a RyJ Belicoso (not many of these left now!!!)

          Cheers, HabanoSy

Another glorious day at Teddington Casa....

Started with the Bolivar Simones - Canada's Regional Edition for 2007 and 2008 - 127 x 19 mm (5 x 48). A real revelation of a cigar, just so damn GOOD. I think I am correct in saying that it has proven such a huge hit that they are also producing it in 2009!

Followed by a Romeo y Julieta Duke Limited Edition 2009. Length: 5 1/2" (140 mm) Ring Gauge: 54 ring gauge. I have tried this once before and LOVED it so I wanted to give it another go. Not a disappointment the second time around, great great great smoke.

A few other odds and sods also, but these two just stand head and shoulders above so many.

Oh, and for you Juan Lopez Seleccion No 2 fans, here is some porn.....

                Hi T

Was the Bolivar purchased at La Casa...?

Fancy trying one (or two) of those...

Partagas SD4 for me. Seemed a little dry to me.

                    Sy,

Yes, Ajay has the Canada RE. I may get over next week if you want me to bounce one on to you or I guess you can just call the man himself. LOL
