    Had an aged bolivar gigantes,

Sadly it was a real disappointment. Temperamental burn, needed relighting quite a bit,
there was a really floral taste blowing smoke out through the nose, and a rich smell coming off the wrapper as I smoked, but overall for having a good few years on it, really not very complex. I've had a few other bolivars, belicoso, royal corona and bonita and i've never been amazed. Must say I'm not a fan of the bolivar flavour, I'm sticking to my lusitanias, and punch & hoyo DCs!

Today is my day off. I started of with MC No4 this morning with a coffee and than I had a Partagas SDN4. I am going to fire up a MC No2 in a minute with a glass of Chivas Regal on the rocks.

2007 Partagas Serie du Connaisseur #2 - probably slightly prefer the #3, but this was nice & longer

An Arte Cubano Dominican Robusto for me today. Mild but very interesting, woodsy with a light citrus aftertaste and just a touch of spicy zing. On top of that great burn.

        Thanks Rokkitsci

I'm on a Partagas something courtesy of HabanoSy. It's about mareva length and possibly a bit thinner. It looks machine-made but what do I know. The taste is shockingly similar to the La Flor de Cano Preferidos to my palate; nothing to recommend it over them apart from the name.
That said, still very enjoyable with a glass of Ardbeg.

Sy, if you read this, I'd love to know what it is! I'm going to guess a Habaneros though?

Just unwrapped my new delivery from Cigarsofhabinos:

              Bolivar - Belicosos Finos -- 25 Box
              Juan Lopez - Seleccion No.2 -- 25 Box
              Partagas - Serie P No.2 -- 25 Box
Ramon Allones - Specially Selected -- 25 Box

Just finished a RASS, love the taste, good burn but always a tight draw. Unsure what to have on Wedsnesday, probably try the Boli Belicosos Fino? SAB001

                Hi Dave

It's a Partagas Mille Fleur, and yes I believe it is machine made...

An HdM Epicure No.2 for me tonight with a nice strong coffee...

                Cheers, HabanoSy

Thanks-I'll know what to put in my notes now. Did you find any similarities with the Flor de Canos? Or is my palate way off?
