After all the sticks I had in Spain I went with a simple Cedros 3 today, forgot how woody they taste.

This afternoon Chinchalero Esportivo driving to the Auld Reekie (Edinburgh for those outside Scotland); ok short smoke, very constant burn and aromas but not terribly exciting,
Just now an A.Fuente Sun Grown Chateau to make up for a stressfull day: nice and interesting smooth medium smoke. My Cigar blog: Cigar Review Rag

just had a PSD4 in the back garden with a chunk of lindt 90% cocoa dark chocolate and a generous measure of bushmills 16 year old single malt! beautiful!!!!! all the flavours collected together to create one heavenly experience (no, i'm not being overdramatic)! the peppery spice of the PSD4, the bitterness of the chocolate and the sweet smoothness of the bushmills 16 year old..........the perfect combination!

Unusually for me, today I've gone for an NC. It's a Hoyo de Monterrey Excalibur 1066 courtesy of HabanoSy (IIRC). Not sure of the size though photo may help. It lit very easily despite it being windy and the burn is pretty straight considering the wrapper damage. Excellent draw. I'm impressed so far.
The taste though? It's an odd one to be sure. It's nice and all but there doesn't seem much depth. It's got a twang similar to the one I got from the Acids, that isn't present in the Cubans I've smoked.

I am just home from another good day in Teddington. Started with watching a brand new Lambo Murcielago LP670-4SV being delivered to the owner. He had JUST picked it up from the dealership and swung by to show it off to his mate who has a Ferrari 612. Let us just say the entire high street came to a stop and some of the scum of humanity reared its ugly head. Lots of "ogling" and pictures taken. The engine bay had been signed by the owner (who had visited the car as it was made), the builders, engineers, etc.....
I can post a few snaps if anybody cares..
Had a chin wag about coffee machines. The machine in the store is a Gaggia like mine but is currently broken. Gaggie recently went bust and taken over by Philips but no repairs are being done at the moment.
Finally I got around to my first smoke, a very rare cigar but you don't want to hear about that.
My second cigar was the MASSIVE Partagas Salomones....
It felt like smoking the Hindenburg. Bloody good.
Had a great chin wag about all manner of things and picked up James something VERY expensive to make him feel better about not being able to come today.

T, how is the solomones? I'm interested, as i've enjoyed all 4 of the partagas vitolas i've tried. Not for an empty stomach though, i've learned the hard way.
Today is a Perdomo Habano Maduro Toro for me. I do really enjoy this cigar. Looking forward to the Lot 23 Conneticuts from G man.Warning: Smoking cigars may cause a slow and delicious death.

Monkey,
I wont RAVE about it, but it is bloody good. It takes a lot to wow me these days (although the RyJ Duke did) but I thoroughly suggest you give the Sol a try. For that size from that brand the price strikes me as "reasonable".
