  • Saturday 19th September - HERF DAY

The majority are probably enjoying the cigar walk, and later on the herf on this fine saturday, hope its nice and mild in London as it is here. No wind today!

Today for me was a Hoyo Robusto, specially lit with some of my cedar splints, amazingly outside with no wind interruption. A very rich smoke, with gentle draws which produced those big white plumes that we all love. Good stuff.

We don't need no stinkin' walk to enjoy fine Habano puros!

This morning it was a....Bolivar Bonita.

Later I plan to enjoy something special while chating with one or two of the bloody herfers while they enjoy a fine gathering on the patio....hopefully not in the rain.

    God's speed, hombres, gods speed

              London Rocks Tonight!

Just got off the blower with many of our mates at the London Herf. Sounded as if they were having a wonderful time.

In honor of this most holiest of nights, I sparked on one of my finest....

              A Montecristo Sublime EL 2008!

I hope you lads took a moment to sing a line or two from that sweet little diddy penned by our own senor Robusto, The UKCF Anthem - Senor Serious!

All the best to the boyz at the Herf!

Well - i just got home from the long day out in London at ze erf! Had a whale of a time - good to meet all and to see some faces - as to the names with those faces - im still quite confused and lost... But oh well.
A great day was had by all - the walk went well - we were well received by all of the stores - Lunch was pleasant at the pub - Big_T and i popped to Casa in Soho for a smoke whilst others were at the cabinet war museum - where we bumped into Robusto and Drewmidorn, which i recognised due to the Hat and beard respectively for each of the afforementioned persons. Then Cabbed over to the Location for the herf where it all commenced. I wont bore with too many details - i will leave that to someone else. Cigar summary for me:
                Hoyo Petit Robusto at Dunhills
Hoyo Epi Especial whilst moving around and at the pub for lunch
                San Christobal Moralles at Casa
                Cohiba Sublimes at the herf
Bolivar Royal Corona at the herf
                Cohiba Esplendidos at the herf

I think that was all..i hope...
I purchased whilst on the walk:
                The petit robusto at Dunhill
3 Por larranaga Magnificos at Dunhill
                Greycliff Espresso at Sautters

                I was Gifted:
Partagas Charlotte at the herf by a very generous herfer
San Christobal Moralles by Ajay from La Casa Del Habano Teddington - who bought a few along for folks.

                Great Day.

Faces, places, avatars and cigars. Fine time and great to meet everyone

                  Cigars throughout the day:

La Aurora Leoninos during the drive down.
That's where the cigar and location accuracy ends I'm afraid.

                  In no particular order:

Placeres Reserva, three JL2s, RASCC, and a VR Famosos.

Bought a Cuaba Traditionales from Davidoff.

Gifted an SLR Double Corona by BNelly, and JPMoore kindly gave me Padron 5000 to try.

A whoops Edit. I forgot to mention the kind gifting from our sponsor of a Partagas P2, another

It was indeed a fine day in great company in several locations.

Many fine cigars. I started with an RA SC Corona, then a Cohiba Robusto at la casa Soho... Then maybe four more...

My mouth feels like the Dartford Tunnel this morning so I'm going to have some Snap, Crackle and Pop and see if my brain comes back together and I taste my toothpaste.

Very nice to meet so many brothers so quickly. I had to slip away without faffing for a 10.00pm milk train. I like to leave as myself and not Prince Phillip.

                    More detail later, hopefully.

I think I'm sort of cigar pissed today!

had a siglo VI, hoyo regalos, party p2 courtesy of CofH, a siglo V (more on that bugger later ), punch pc, aged partagas short and a hoyo depute.

huge thanks to ajay for the gift cristobal la casa LE's he was handing out. im definitely paying a visit to la casa in teddington soon. and thanks to panto for the gift gonzalez!

even an hour and a half slog at 2 in the morning was made heaven with a monte 2.
