hey all (i'm getting a bit too used to posting these messages! lol! sure, that's why this forum's here)! finished my first shift of the day relatively early, so, with the missus and the baby gone out for a couple of hours, i made a big cup of coffee and got out the last (3rd cigar) of my 1st bundle of partagas culebras! man, they pack a mighty kick, typical partagas spice/ pepper/ chocolate! it's gonna take a whole lot of will power to keep my hands off the other 2 bundles (i intend to keep these in my humidor till xmas, 1 bundle is for my father in law)! yum!!!

Sounds like a great smoke Alex, I have to admit that just looking at the culebras in the thread nic (I think) posted makes me want to try one (or better 3) soooooo much .

For me an Invicta Petit Corona this afternoon, not that great. Maybe something Cuban later to make up for that

Bahia B line tonight , gifted to me as an extra in a purchase from the Gman. Web says its a medium smoke but i found it quite a strong for a little stick. Seemed to start right away with spice and liquorice, well thats what i thought, setting down to a medium smoke in the middle before getting a more prounounced spice at the end.

A wee Boli CJ whilst driving from the day time job to the evening one. This box of 07s has been lovely IMO.

SLR Serie A for me this morning. I must say it was very pleasant. Had it with my morning coffee. I may just have to do the same thing tomorrow

Another enjoyable herf in Cardiff with Dave.

I picked up a Boli Bonita and a San Cristobal El Principe from the Bear shop in Cardiff.

I started the with the El Principe, which was an excellent, creamy, quite mild smoke - a perfect lunch time stick perhaps? Almost certainly going to be added to my next order.

Then I gave a Nica Libre 1990 a run out - it's often referred to as the non-extortionate Padron, and it was pleasant. On first lighting it was violent! It was peppery, almost maice like, boy it gave me a bash around the head. Very quickly, however, it mellowed out.

I've got a couple more of the Nica Libres, and will doubtless take the opportunity to smoke one in seclusion, with the tasting note-pad at hand.
