After being in town and buying some fine wine a mate informed me of a BBQ this evening, score. Im sure we all know what that means today.

The Passo Doble is an interesting wine, mixes modern winemaking technique with the traditional method used to make Amarone in Italy, had it at a wine tasting at my local Oddbins and it's not bad at all.

      Haven't tried a No.2 yet though .

Just had a Fonseca Cubano Limitado that i got from an Atlantic cigar grab bag. Pre draw i got a sweet mellow almost chocolatey taste and had a right old suck at it. Classed as a full bodied cigar i found it very nice and not as full on as the Don Pepin Garcia blue i had last week. Had a slight burn issue with it mid way but since its blowing a hoolie up here can't let that distract from it. Mid way found it had a smooth creamy taste and to the end it had an almost cubanesque taste to it. I swear i could have made smoke signals with it that could be seen for miles. Overall i found this to be a very nice smoke and one i think MrB would love if he could get his hands on one. Don't know if anyone esle has had one of these ,would be nice to know their opinions as atlantic do 5 packs and i may have to get some in the future.

If a cigar's smoke can mimic a coal powerstation then it's good in my book. Do you have a link to where you got em? cheers

I must be on the wrong thread...thought I was in the "what are you smokin'" not "what are you drinking" place.

Pardon me...I'll go to the correct place and post my morning puro there.

                Why I oughta'....

WAIT A MINUTE!!!!....this IS the right place for posting today's puros. You had ol' TJ fooled for a minute (something, I'm told, that's not too hard to do.)

Right then. This fine Saturday morning I sparked up a Hoyo de Monterrey Regalo EL 07. A favorite famalia Coro morning puro.

Names TJ, TJCoro, and I'll save the wine for the evening puro!

                        EL SANTOR FIGURADO......

............................For me in about half an hour, Can't wait

                        Length: 180 mm (7 1/8")
                        Diameter: 21,2 mm
                        Ring gauge: 53

Classified among the legendary sizes, this cigar is produced in limited quantities because it requires very special pure and large tobacco leaves. Very few torcedores are able to roll such a cigar.
