Man, I hate my hay fever more than ever. Mandatory smoking break... Anything I would try to smoke right now would taste like shit anyway. I have to say though, it's incredibly easy not to smoke. If I still smoked cigarettes, I wouldn't last half a day without one...

You're a grass victim then, I'm trees so I get it first. Fortunately the worst has passed for me.
Have either of you guys tried taking a spoonful of locally sourced honey every day? It really does help to combat lessen the effects of hay fever - I use it all the time and it has completely lessened my hay fever considerably this past year

I have heard that and I am pretty sure last year I had some local honey from Essex and the symptoms were much better than this year. Couldn't find any yet though, have to look around a bit more. My partner got me some homeopathic stuff and while I'm very sceptical about homeopathy, it does do the trick at the moment. However, that might also be due to the weather turning to autumn lateley. I'll see what the next sunny weekend brings and will try to hunt down some local bee keeper.

It's a strange thing I've also found- as a cigarette smoker I would be gasping after a few hours but I could easily stop smoking cigars for a couple of weeks without any trouble
In my view cigars are a habit and not an addiction due to the lack of nicotine. It's about relaxing and tasting flavours not feeding the bodies need for a substance.
As for hay fever yes local honey can help lessen the affects.

They do give me a buzz though...

I had a Trinidad Esmeralda yesterday. Quite young as everyone knows. I can tell you that it gave me an enormous kick in the ass when it comes to nicotine

That's interesting, the review I saw on YouTube said the Media Luna was the one with the bigger load.

A couple of years ago I cut down a beech tree in February and ended up in bed for three days with what I thought was a chest infection. My neighbour who is a matron told me it was a massive antigen attack caused by the body's reaction to the sap etc being released. Essentially what Covid causes apparently.
