Fancied a Monte #2 today - had to really hunt for one, 'cos they're not in my usual rotation (or EDC as I now call it ). Ones I had are lovely dark brown '06s. Really nice smoke - chocolate/cream with hints of wood early on Bit like SLRs - love 'em when I smoke them, but for some reason don't go back for them often ?

Wasn't to thrilled by the first third, not bad just monotonous, but it really opened up and developed after that.

quite a late night smoke, just finished. The legend was quite flavorsome! really strong ash also, lovely draw and pleasant smoke. For some reason a large gauge, dark wrapper, with a striking white contrast ash is pure yum
