Firstly, I need to dry box the next one, the burn wasn?t good.
Secondly: It?s a rough looking stick?
Other than being darker they all look like Jose L. Piedra Cazadores?
I bought a box, it had been opened, I guess to check stock- But they are rough.. [emoji19]
The smoke [emoji100] was good though, smooth, flavourful and rounded.

Good observation, indeed I am not a fan of EL's because of the dark wrappers, with a few exceptions (H.Upmann Mag 48 2009). Dark wrappers are cheaper to produce, Habanos found they had a load of dark wrappers & thought what can we do with them? And then the marketing guys said, let''s make them exclusive & then they'll want them & more! Of course they have their fans but generally lots of hype for me. The ER are totally different, you'll still paying more than standard production but at least you're getting a vitola that's normally available in that marca.

Great info Simon, thank you.
I?ll be thinking twice next time I buy a box. If I?m honest, I really like the look of a Maduro wrapper but if they a rough, they look crap.
I?d love to sample a Mantua however! That?s next on the ?lit? list [emoji16]
