Edit: I switched to coffee and either as a result of this, or a coincidence, this mellowed out nicely towards the end.

Tangy is a good description of Party Shorts, when they are on to me they taste like sourdough and sweet spices, nutmeg and paprika.

Dunno mate - came from [MENTION=13488283]simwells[/MENTION]. Sour - yes! Quite young probably which he warned me a few sticks would be but I can't yet taste age I don't think.

From my very limited experience, they are decent when young but a bit punchy. After a little while they fall flat and I don’t enjoy them at all then at about the 3 year mark out of nowhere they really get good.

If you are looking for a good non alcoholic/caffeinated drink to pair with cigars try orange juice, FOH did a test sometime last year and despite them mocking it before hand it came out on top. I didn’t believe it either until I tried it and now I would swear by it, it seems to really bring out the flavours.

I love Party Shorts! Even young I like the tang, probably only about 18 months on that one smoked above but I enjoy these both young or old not fussed but it does make a big change to the smoke
