Social distancing with a chateaux Fuente natural and espresso. While my daughter lovingly calls in the background ?close the door your stinking the house out?. [emoji23][emoji23]
Obviously taking over where her mother left off several years ago
Alex custom SdC#1 this morning on the first conf call of the day, now 2nd. Punch Mantua this week for afternoon call[emoji41]
Any good Henrik?
Which one? The Alex custom is phenomenal being only 10 months old, wish I?d bought 100 instead of 25.
The Mantua is great so far and will be very good I think. It?s strong on nicotine which hides a lot of aromas, but today there was a great deal of leather but at the last third some earthy tones. Construction is impeccable as was the first one, with perfect draw just with the tail twisted off.
Still way too cold to smoke in the shade while I work. Brrrrr.
Come on Banos, I?m only 5-6 miles from you it?s a lovely afternoon. An old phrase comes to mind from Monty Python. Big girls blouse. [emoji1787][emoji1787]
What are they like Mike, I’ve been meaning to try and get hold of some of these to try
The one I just smoked was rather young (2016) and wasn't the best that I've had so far. Some wood and earth with light chocolate and sweetness (not too sugary though). The final third was a bit spicy and had mainly woody notes. These will need more time down. But it's definitely a cigar that one should have a few singles off. And I like the Churchill vitola quite a bit. If you can find a few older ones you should go for them Alan.
