My first Oliva Serie v (my first ovila at all), via simwells - thank you brother.
Delicious initially - typically maduro sweet, rich smoke... This utterly sublime book distracted me from the experience to be honest, as did the unexpected visitor dragging me from my man cave and forcing a relight which, it seems, guarantees no long ash, as it drops off after? More nicotine than I've had in a while which was nice for a Friday night, not much of a 'journey' (as Rob from down under says cigars should deliver) but very tasty.
Also, a pint of coffee is sufficient to cover a robusto, a pint of ale is not. Red wine pairs better than I would have expected too.
I don't read a lot but chaps I'm on page 12 of the intro chapter of this book and I'm genuinely gasping at how amazing it is. Factfulness: Ten Reasons We're Wrong About The World - And Why Things Are Better Than You Think https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/14736374..._mwcuEb0CTSR5K
Well after a long day outside fitting guttering to the Summerhouse - cant believe its nearly a year since I first started to build it. Thought I would treat myself with ? Eye of the Shark?

It?s been one of those weeks so it calls for a smoke. Dipping back into my NC singles with a My Father No.1 Robusto. New toy in the background, inspired by PeeJay with his Butane insert for his zippo
