Tomm783 to add to Geoff?s questions as I think you?re the only person to have likely tried the limited?s and standard production how do they all compare? I?m a big fan of the standard production but not sure how much they vary to consider picking the others up when they pop up
I?m guessing the 2018 was better than the 2017 considering current availability?
I meant the figurado melanio - the original I think
Yes I had a box of the torpedos with a single remaining and have a box of the fig, not smoked yet. In honesty, I can?t see there being a huge difference between the regulars and the LE?s - the LE?s tend to be a vitola which isn?t in the regular line instead of a radically different blend so not a huge difference in flavour. However cigars aren?t just about flavour and the experience smoking this was different (rightly or wrongly) because it is ?limited?, feels different, looks different etc!
Go buy a box of regulars, you can?t go wrong from a value perspective [emoji1303]

Just saw this, above probably answered some of this. 2017 was a jaw breaker and hard to compare to regular as so different in size and shape. I?ve not opened the 2018 Robusto yet but again its non box pressed.
While the regular line is excellently constructed I get the impression the LE have had that little more care and as such physically feel better in the hand, silky smooth wrappers etc. How much you value that is up to you, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that!
You got me - it was an impulse buy from a teasing email and they were discreetly added to the humidor....

I succumbed to a mailshot too and bought a box of figurados. A hefty donation to Her Majesty meant they came in at 2/3 JJ Fox price. I did get a very nice complimentary Oliva lighter though.
The Topes LE was delightful as usual Steve - they are one of my favourite LE smokes. This was one from an Aug 16 box and the flavours at certain points seemed melded/confusing - but still great. Will leave this one alone for another 12 months or more
