Well seems I'm the only one enjoying a cigar today. So greetings from Krakow.

Young JL no.2. Paired with a Dalmore. I'm not a whisky drinker, but they have no beer. Remarkably drinkable!

I think I may finally have this CAD under control...

Certainly not the only one! I am at a cigar Christmas meet-up in Nottingham that I have been trying to get to for months!

First up we have just cracked open a Balmoral Gran perfecto anejo XO, what a decedent opening too - brown sugar, vanilla, and very rum like. On the box list at this rate!

Whiskey, like cigars is a slippery slope once you start to get the taste.

No cigar for me tonight, I think it?s now officially too cold to stand outside even with a heater.

Evening all. Been a really hard past few days from a family perspective and have been off work as a result. It?s amazing when certain things happen in life you think about things differently. My amazing wife told me that I should go for a smoke yesterday so I used that time to do a lot of reflection.

I?m sure it?s agreed by all in this fine community that the situation or circumstance you find yourself in when you smoke has a huge impact on the enjoyment of a cigar.

In this instance I took a VR DA with me, the first one from the box I have and it?s the best cigar I?ve had all year. Maybe one of the best ever. Perhaps the time spent with my thoughts made it as good as it was?

This afternoon I enjoyed a Southern Draw Rose Of Sharon Lancero

Time is a healer. Coupling it with a fine smoke makes it an even better healer.

A Juan Lopez #2 at Cigarword in Dusseldorf. What an amazing place, well worth a visit.

First time I have tried a Juan Lopez too and it did not disappoint.

Rich B That walk-in looks bloody amazing! And the smoking area itself looks huge! Is it a converted warehouse?

It is a really strange building, at the back of a residential street. When I got there is was dark, felt like a purpose built building though. The humidor was amazing, half Cubans, half NC. They give you a card and charge everything to it, you help yourself to beers, coffee, rum and you pay at the end.

I'd love to visit there one day, sounds like a very civilised place with potential to spend a few hours enjoy some of lives finer pleasures!
