H upmann Royal Robusto (2015) my last one out of this cracking box, been saving it for the right moment, and tonight I have broken up from work for a week - my first week off all year - so why not now!

I think I may finally have this CAD under control...
Today was my first day of trading at Southwark Cathedral Christmas Market, which was unfortunately impacted by the awful events at London Bridge.
After hearing the two very obvius gunshots, the market and wider area quickly went into lockdown before we were ushered into the main Cathedral and barricaded inside for what seemed like an hour. Police then evacuated us we were told to leave the area for the day. For many traders this will have a not insignificant impact on our income, myself included, though I've just been informed that the cordon has been lifted and trading will resume tomorrow at midday - here's hoping that the attack doesn't put off too many people from visiting and shopping in the area.
That said, ultimately my thoughts are with the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives today.
Huge respect to those brave members of the public who risked their lives and apprehended the attacker and of course to the combined efforts of the Met, City of London and British Transport police who managed a truly scary and chaotic situation with utmost professionalism.
On a lighter note, once I'd made it out of central London (1hr 20 to drive 5 miles!!), I managed to grab pizza and a few beers with a dear friend of mine and enjoyed the RYJ Short Churchill that UKCF Santa sent me earlier this week.
I'm now safely at a pals house and ready to hit the hay for the night.
Apologies for the rambling post BOTL's, I'm a bit pished now and trying to make sense of a very eventful day.
