I gave this RyJ a squeeze when I got it out as is my habit and heard a little crack from the cap so deployed the V cutter and all was good. That's when you need a V cut newbies, it slices the centre out and leaves the cap intact. It can save a cigar.
Some may recall my disastrous introduction to the Connie A but given the rave reviews of the Connie line, I thought I?d give a No.1 a go. Boy I?m glad I did. It?s got a sweet, mineral taste which I really like! Construction is decent as well!

The Connoisseur No1 is an absolute beauty of a cigar. The best Upmann perhaps?
It often get overlooked but I love them. They should always be on everyone's rotation

Agree. Only had a few. And neglected getting a box because they are always around! One day that's going to be a regret! But #mrnospacerightnow!

My favourite Upmann I?ve tried is the Mag 50 but I would say this is now joint favourite. Was my description of the flavour akin to how your describe it?

There's definitely a sweetness to them. Plus fresh bread. Always a refined smoke even when brand new
