Three stick day for me! After the HdM Churchill I managed a pre-dinner QdO Secretos - these have definitely improved since they were released, but still have a slight peppery edge to them. Will revisit in 6 months or so but I think they're on their way to becoming rather good smokes.

Then a post-dinner VR Maestro which was the ER Espa?a from 2007. This was a freebie given to me by a B&M owner near Tarragona last year, after I spent a reasonable amount in store. A cracking stick with lots of rich caramel/chocolate notes going on. I'd love to get my hands on more of these. I have a Don Alejandro with me which, based on this, will definitely be getting smoked this holiday.

Had this last night. Wonderful and very powerful hit. It confirmed everything I thought I had discovered about non-cubans. difference between caviar and horse dung. Everything...taste, ash, smell, after taste, the room afterwards....much nicer. Even my wife sat next to me was enjoying it occasionally.
No more NCs for me...

Might get some more ERDM demitasse next if they still do them.
