So following the tales of potential woe in this thread, I went and re-checked my cab last night. From 25 cab, 24 were utterly identical, and I think maybe one looks like it may be just a fraction under filled, but otherwise the construction looks superb and the sticks look to actually be really rather well made.

Given the time since production, these seem to be levelling out as not being overly wet.... and were firm but springy. I was mentally prepared to resign them to the 'gifts to others' pile based on the feedback above, despite giving them a good look over when I bought them! But now the are going to return to the back of my Havana haven to be (hopefuilly) enjoyed in due course... that said I know which one will be getting an early flame!

I think its brilliant Simon, just smoked the second one from you the other day. I bought two boxes and will probably get a few more.

Sounds good Simon. I'll crack out some nice sticks for the three of us to enjoy!

Simon_Bolivar and gojira, There are two options for me: going down, I have to be in South France on May 18th. OR going back home - I leave Annecy on the 8th. of June. Probably driving home is the best option because I could reach Antwerp area Saturday early evening, I could even pick you up mike somewhere around Paris. Then I have to drive home Monday at the latest which is a bank holiday.

That sounds good. And we would have Saturday evening and Sunday to smoke. Because I guess that we each would like to break out at least one good cigar to share which would make three cigars to smoke each.
