First sancho panza in years and this isva lovely mild stick. Bought as a single so no idea of age but it tastes well aged.

Slightly balmy here in deepest Gloucs, but thought I would enjoy my first cigar of 2019 anyway.

First one out of a box that arrived last week.

Oliva V double robusto - these are such a rich flavoursome smoke. However, I know the general idea is that NCs tend to be ready from the get go, I have smoked from this cab over the past two years and the age is making these much smoother and tastier IMHO

Just because they're ready to go from release doesn't mean they can't improve with age

Very true, and obviously so. I guess I have read and watched so many people saying that within 2-3 years NCs lose flavour, etc. But smoking this, I just don’t see it. I guess like anything it depends on the blend, and the individuals preference!

i guess this is why I love cigars, there is no real right answer, it’s a wonderful mixture of science meeting art!

Yes i agree. 2 years on an oliva v does wonders. Been through plenty and they really do improve.

Another one of Dalay's own releases. They also come with a maduro wrapper and I have to say, the wrapper does make a huge difference. I prefer the darker one, but this one's also quite nice so far.
