Honestly, not much of an opinion - flavours were all quite woody and all over the place. I am hoping that it is an age thing (these are Jul 2018), over a 'not my taste' thing! I have made a note to try one again in an year and see where things stand!

Disappointing really, as a few reviewers are already saying these are flavour bombs

At least i got the curiosity out of the way!
Only the impossible is worth the effort.

Oh no, well hopefully it's just because of their age. I've got a box of Nr 2's that were just bland every year till the 5 year mark and then they became fantastic. You never know.

Exactly, I'm sure they'll come around in time, 6 months is barely a breath with cubans! God i love the HU 2's, such a cracking smoke, and they do just get better and better the longer you can leave them, like the Sir Winnies - for a 'medium' strength marca, i find Upmann generally has exceptional legs

I find the medium and light brands age beautifully for me. Upmann, Quai D'Orsay and Hoyo are all stunning after a good few years. I sometimes think the stronger marcas lose some of the flavours I appreciate when they are young.
