Fonesca No. 1 (2009) - this was generously gifted to me by [MENTION=13371754]Alexw33[/MENTION] I have smoked a more recent 2017 No.1 that I really enjoyed; full of a lovely sweet creaminess, so I was intrigued how an 09 would smoke. It is a completely different beast, this one had spice and woody notes, with a salty Cuban twang, and I love it! Interesting just how different these are, I doubt this is an age thing, but rather a change in the actual DNA? Either way, I?d love to get a box of these alongside my 2017 ones! Thanks again, Alex! I've only had a couple so far - this one is good fairly strong flavor but smoking well. One of the others was unsmokable as it was completely plugged. Good relatively quick smokes.Originally posted by 7kingsguy View Post
