My first ever H Upmann Pc ?. what a surprise !
Was expecting something relatively mellow and smooth. This stick was pungent, with lashings of earth and mushrooms in a full medium body.
Delicious !

I followed it with my current favourite - a Vegas Robaina Famosos.
Full medium and spicy ?. very reliable.

Sitting in the shade with a Partagas Series No 1 today (photos when I get back) and there is actually another cigar smoker here. He’s smoking a King Edward and I was interested to see him poke a hole in the cap with a cocktail stick to smoke it.
The Partagas started out like a big D4 but mellowed our completely inthe second third. The final third is much richer and nutty. Damn thing has needed a lot of relights and corrections though.

In my opinion one of the (if not the) best cigars I?ve ever owned. The taste is just profound and the draw through that pigs tail a**hole is perfect[emoji41]

It is very hard to find it without paying a big premium.

Very very hard to find - I travelled like crazy to cigar outposts to hook up with my stock except two boxes I picked up in a German Lcdh by sheer luck. I paid std. price in all places though.

BUT despair not, rumor has it that the Topes will enter the standard program from 2019.
