Cedros de Luxe is a hell of a cigar, extremely well balanced and inmaculate construction... I'm really fond on them

I've only had one of the deluxe in the past, got a couple aging. It was a nice cigar but im more a fan of the thinner ring guages.

Well, the review you posted pretty much sums it up. I had no amonia however and would add that the cigar has some light spicy flavours as well. It's not a mild cigar IMO but I had a chat with my guy at the store today and the one he smoked was rather mild. I would say that the one I'm smoking now is somewhere between mild and medium strenght. It certainly smokes well for a very young cigar (Jul 18) and I'm curious to taste another one in a couple of years. But I think that unlike most JLs hasn't the legs for longterm storage. 5 years tops but I might be wrong as it can also develop into a lighter cigar with legs for more than 5 yeras like most Hoyos.

July 18, that is extremely young - the fact there is no ammonia is also really reassuring! I may have to light one up this side of Christmas too, just to benchmark them

I find that some cigars smoke pretty good when they only have 2 or 3 months on them. After that I like them with a minimum of 2 years on them. I don't like to smoke them in between those time periods.

Cigar of the month is a monthly feature were a cigar without the band is send out for people to try and guess what it is. The band usually is included in a small sealed envelope. At the end of each month the cigar is revealed.
