Had my daughter bday party today...so finally able to relax with a mont open 2010 from moteyi cheers fella was a lovely cigar...this is one of my favs from the open series. The construction on this one was flawless loos at the ash...lovely spirals even my wife was impressed haha
Paired with one of my own whisky blends at the Chivas blending session last year
What are your thoughts on it! I smoked one a few days ago and I loved it, so far this has been my top AOK smoke, and i could see a box of them in the future!
Talisman has been on my mind for the past few days so had to tonight.
This one is MSU NOV 17 (Partagas?) and for a young stick it smokes very well.I've smoked at least a box from different codes and they've all performed well IMO.
Smaller and less to smoke! Seriously though I find both are too loosely packed and I end up with bits of tobacco in my mouth. NC makers do seem to have the upper hand with very small smokes.

Yep, I've never had a Club but the Shorts are too loosely packed. I like them until they get too warm about halfway through and start falling apart!

It had a nice flavour, ridiculously smooth. I just felt it lacked a bit of complexity. Id try it again but for me the last payday blew this out the water. Both very different cigars though; I believe this was more Willy Herrera's blend than Caldwell's.
