Did they blend this range specifically to age or something???
No they supposedly are aged cigars that are put on the market five to eight years after being rolled. So this Hoyo that I'm smoking is a vitola that didn't exist in the Hoyo line up before this one was released. Did HSA create a new vitola for Hoyo say 8 years ago and let thousands of boxes sleep to release them in 2015?
And do this every year with the other Anejados releases?
I don't think so! And every Anejado that I have tried tasted young to me. I think it's just a new rip off program put on the market because a lot of cigar smokers like aged cigars. You don't have enough aged cigars in your collection? Don't worry, HSA can provide....
Caldwell All Out Kings - bloody gorgeous chocolate notes, and a real maple sweetness, all balanced with some leather and spice. Could jolly well be the top NC I?ve had to date!
My first of the week. Thought I would try this short Robusto - La Rosa de Santiego - A gorgeous NC - flavours of oatmeal/cream on the cold draw - after lighting settles down to let toasted oatmeal - cream - hints of spice come through with slight pepper on the retro hale...a gorgeous mild smoke so far!
