I chickened out of risking the rain today and took to the cabin with this Extra Anejo 888. The wrapper and the foot smelled strongly of molasses but smoking it tasted of a slightly spicy black coffee but it packed a hidden punch. No effect whilst smoking but I got a little hot after rubbing it. Its obviously a maduro but looks so dark as to be an oscuro. That's all natural colouring not a dye.
A friend bought these bacK from holiday for me. Quorum Shade corona, what I would describe as a cheep yard gar. Not bad, a bit harsh for my taste. I think I'll stick to my Cuban stock for a while.
