First of all a big thank you to Duncan Pandyboy for sorting these JSK lanceros and secondly you guys who also bought these aren't going to regret it, they're excellent. The wrapper smells like cocoa powder and for the first two thirds the smoke is naturally sweet and very similar to the Casa Cuba I smoked last week. Into the final third and it gets a little spicy but not unpleasantly so. The ash kept dropping off in my lap and apart from a small correction at the start the burn was perfect with no relights required. Overall a damned good smoke and worth getting a box if you can.

I?ve just got home from the third and final interview of what?s been a gruelling process. I?m one of the last two and will hopefully hear tomorrow. I?ve decided to treat myself to a beer and a good cigar. 2003 Hoyo Du Prince was the choice.

Caldwell Reserva Sevillana - buttery and creamy, with a peppery finish. Nice enough smoke, but not box worthy.
