My plan to have a short smoke and a coffee before work somehow became this rather enjoyable Forever Fresh corona when I started digging around in the Lock'n'locks

Basking in the victory (and the effects of a bottle of wine) from last night, I?m smoking a RE. Nice flavour, good burn - promising.



As I forgot all my smoking paraphernalia I?ve been using the point of some scissors to punch my cigars, works really well.

Oh, well I was lucky enough to have a work colleague visit Cuba in February just after they were made official. So got myself a bundle of 25.

With my little experience I think they are great customs. And at the price of 4,5 CUC a pop they are extremely good value I think.
They are the reason I have come to appreciate long and skinny?s more and more.
Construction wise they are really great. Firm and perfectly rolled with just the right draw. Medium to full. Taste wise hard to compare - maybe Partagas like? Some pepper, lots of coffee and a hint of dark chocolate. Actually a bit of maduro like in second half (to me).
Still young, but as opposed to in March they can now be nubbed. I?ll save some a couple of years I think.
