My smokes for the day were:
Hoyo de Monterray Epicure Especial. Really splendid smoke. That Cuban taste is so wonderful.
The next got dumped within 5 minutes of lighting it. Horrid. It was a Carlos Torano "signature collection". I found it revolting - "hot" taste and not a great draw. I am growing increasingly fussy. If it doesn't appeal to my taste buds sharpish it gets dumped. I give 'em 5 minutes. If a cigar is crap in the first 5 minutes my experience is that it stays crap.
I recovered from my disapointment and rewarded myself with a trusty Don Quijote. Nice long slow smoke (Torpedo) and although it won't set the world alight on taste it is a pleasant smoke and for less than a ?1 a throw you can't ask for more than that.
