Monte Open Regatta. These seem to be quite polarizing, I'm really enjoying it so far!

Short in the midday sun. The cherry quietly fizzes when I draw.

I have been rubbish at posting my daily smokes this last week (I?m on the cusp of moving house so everything is everywhere - my mind included)

So here?s what?s been under the flame lately:

                Spicy and fruity RASS (2016)

Punch Churchill (2006) cinnamon spice, sourness, cream, and wood

Vegas Robina Classicos (2010) rich tobacco, leather, and dark chocolate.

Punch Royal Er Benelux (2009) creamy, citrus notes, and that sourness I love with punch.

Hoyo Gourmet twangy creamy sweetness, with peppery wood.

Connie A (2015) this one sang to me; just rich chocolate, spice, and orange notes (?!)

RyJ Short Churchill (2017) - creamy cherries, meets cedar.

Now we are back on track I?ll try and post daily again!

Some amazing smokes there. I had a Monte. A a few years ago with my dad, still remember it now.

                    Top smokes thedame007

Some great variety, some good ages and still it sounds like the Upmann A is the pick of the bunch. One of the best regular production smokes around surely, could soon be my number 1 if they are all as good as the few I’ve tried so far.

Thanks Alex, for all I really enjoyed some of those aged sticks, the Connie stormed it. One of the top smokes of the year so far! Just hope the rest of the cab keeps the quality high!

They’re still being made, but they’re bloody rare (and well sought after!). Still it’s good to have a white whale or two, allows you to kid yourself that this is a hobby and not an acquisitions addiction...
