Giving the No.4 another try on a friends balcony whilst watching French police forces who are about to take care of some Union trouble. Fun for about 5 minutes but watching Netflix would have been more interesting.

Today I decided to crack open my box of Bolivar Libertador whilst I had a friend round. Sometime during the year or so since I bought these someone must have swapped them out with some Hoyos because this was the mildest Boli I have ever tasted. It didn't really develop any flavour until the final third and still didn't taste like any other Bolivar (no its not a fake!). In fact the Hoyo du Depute I had this morning had more flavour and its not an age thing as they're the same age. Added to which my friend's one had the most awful side burn that spiralled around the cigar.

I a box of Boli PCs that are very light as well. They are tasty though.

Well, I must say that the 2013 D 4 I just had was a lovely smoke. I have said that the whole D series is crap in the past but I must admit that having my first good one today might change my thoughts about them.

Found the COTM on the doorstep when I got in so grabbed a beer and lit it up. Very nice so far

I've always said I didn't like the D4 but the last one I had was beautiful. That was an Aug 2013 aswell, maybe they just needed 5 years.

Yes, probably. I've only had younger ones before and they just weren't my thing. I have another one from 2013 and if it's as good I might go for a 10 count box.
