Had a very nice Open Master from 2010 (courtesy of SS) really nice - also unexpected. Dont know if its the year or the aging. Tempted to get a few more from 2010 to see.

So was very much enjoying this cigar, lovely flavours, razor sharp burn then I hit the half way mark. It became very hot and when the ash fell there was what I can only describe as a hard, pointy ash in the middle. I had to decapitate about an inch and its back to normal. It was if it was only burning down the middle of the cigar?

Any ideas why? Could it have been a stem?

H.Upmann No.2 (2014) - wood, cocoa, coffee and a thick burnt sugar taste to this smoke. A beautiful long finish. This smoke is moreish, and a regular favourite of mine. D6F24899-E8F3-44E2-8F1E-5172D8836066.jpg
