Rain has stopped so im firing up a mi querida by steve saka. This thing is gorgeous to look at and has a fantatic weight and aroma. Hoping it lives up to expectations... it's started in a similar vein to the liga 9 which i believe was also blended by him.

A Boli Greco this evening. Pretty decent smoke, but definitely not worth the price.

Ramon Allones XXL Robusto. When a normal size RASS just wouldn?t cut it. A lovely spicy two hour affair [emoji7]

Haha! Well when I wake up with a sore jaw I can at least narrow it down somewhat...

The opens are an interesting one. When they first came out they were vilified and considered a tasteless marketing gimick. Had one about 6 or 7 years ago and to be honest ive had better 2 dollar ncs.

But recently i see people having a different attitude. Maybe they improved the blend or they aged well? Anybody have one back then and now to compare? Are they still light bodied?

Purchased a three pack of the Eagle in 2015, had two, didn't like them and I ended up gifting the third one. I will not give them another chance.

I recently had a fresh Open Master from a 2016 box at my local lounge near work. Very light bodied and light in flavor. Had another last weekend from 2010 (thanks to SS!) Still light in body, but was tasty and had some sweetness! Complete contrast!

I've got an Open Eagle I've had since around 2010/2012. Am very curious about it now...

Whether the difference is down to the year of production or the age, cannot say!
                            .--
I think I may finally have this CAD under control...
