After a week of flu this is my first smoke in ages. Decided to have a mild oliva conneticut to ease myself back into it.

A rare weekend noon smoke...Recently bought these gems of PeeJay partagas presidente 05....so far loving every draw...so rich full of flavour. Goes straight to join favourite party cigar. Just pure bliss..

A bit of a uneven burn but corrected it self going in the the 2nd 3rd

Never sure on the draw on these perfectos I think they are called but this one was perfect

After what seems like an eternity of colds, runny noses and coughs I am finally back to enjoying a cigar.
Just taken new car for a trip out this morning and now for a du depute and beer.

I have never been a big fan of this marca but got a few singles lately to give RyJ another chance. Mar 13 Exhibicion No.3. I?m still a little under the weather and should have been a little more patient since my taste buds don?t want to play ball.

So how was it...? (Edit : just seen other thread!)

Seems like everyone's getting over a cold. I'm completely bunged up now.

I think I may finally have this CAD under control...

I was the same with RyJ Mike. mcdee gifted me one at the herf in Aberdeen which I believe was an Exibition no.4
I smoked it on my first night in New Orleans. Faith now somewhat restored and I will be trying a few more vitolas.

I still have a few singles floating around and will definitely give them a try John. And someone on here (I forgot who it was) suggested to try the Cazadores since I love Lonsdales. I phoned my cigar store about them and they only have recent production. I will probably get a single or two on my next trip there. But I would like to try one that has the right age, even though I have no idea what age that is.

Finally found time to celebrate the victory of HdM in the recent poll with the first of my 1999 Churchill?s. A bit of wrapper damage but purely cosmetic. Beautiful draw and a lovely mellow almost sweet taste to start with.
