After smoking the old machine rolled La Flor de Cano Selectos yesterday I thought it would be interesting to smoke a hand rolled one from 2014 today. The construction was much firmer and the draw a lot better, the machine rolled are very loose. Also I find that the machine rolled get too soft in the mouth by the time I've finished. The firmer draw obviously makes it a longer smoke too. Flavour wise the newer one is richer as you'd expect with a similar profile but whereas the old one got bitter towards the end this one stayed good to the nub. The new one wins it.
