HdM Epicure Especial (2016) - from a cab that has a glistening sheen, however this one was packed to pluggery.

Employed the perfect D to clear some breathing room:

IMG_0441.jpg (looks like i've broken up a flake...)

Then smoked the little darling - heaps of cream and woody spice. I need to try and lay my paws off the rest of these and revisit in 6 months, as I can tell that for all they're great now, they should develop into something special!

That must have been plugged, I've never taken that much tobacco out of a cigar before

And it was STILL on the tight side. I should have weighed it just for interest...!

Looks like you turned that long filler into a short filler. It was well shredded! Damned Cubans!

I think I may finally have this CAD under control...

2014 JLPC. Amazing how this cigar has mellowed out. I remember them being quite strong when I started smoking them from this box a couple of years ago. Have another box with extremely dark wrappers and wonder how they will smoke.

Any chance they may be fake? I thought EE's came in a plain unvarnished matt finish box.

I think thedame007 is talking about the cigars having a glistening sheen (oily) rather than the physical box...

I did indeed mean the cigar had an oily sheen - the cab is good old raw cedar

Sorry my mistake. That unblocking tool sounds like a handy thing, I'll have to pick one up myself.

They save many a cigar - within 1 month it had made its cost up, certainly a worthy investment!
