RASCC

There are certainly some drawbacks to my job, time away from family, especially missing Christmases & New Years that I care to remember, being stuck on for days with bad weather & living for 6months a year on an oil rig; which was recently likened to being in a prison, in tiny shared cabin! Of course there are benefits, a decent wage, a 3/3 3/6wk rota & occasionally I get to save a life. Today was one of those days so to mark the occasion I trawled through my offshore collection & came up with a RASCC 2013, wonderful, rich & aromatic as always, even the fag smokers commented favourably - how I have missed these, waiting for this box to get some decent age. Carpe Diem!

Cheers Horsebox, guess I was feeling a bit hyper, lots of intense work to get him off but luckily everything went smoothly. The Coastguard was nearby on another MedRescue nearby & the weather was kind, that's a good combination. Indeed the perfect wee smoke for the occasion, couldn't have spared the time to smoke anything larger. I was with the patient from all morning & I have only just finished all the paperwork & caught up a bit on the other work for today. Off to bed, another hectic 3 1/2 days before my chopper.
