Late shift today so I spent an enjoyable half hour with coffee and a La Gloria Cubana Serie R Pequeno. This little 4x36 Dominican is described as 'big flavour in a little package' and it didn't disappoint. Incidentally the NC La Gloria Cubana range can be bought is Europe under the name La Gloria Caribe. Background music was the new Camilla Cabello album to give a little Havana feel.

If you like upmann this is a lovely cigar imo. I love the mags 45 and 50 and very similar in taste.
These a rott so needed a bit of time in the humi like a week or so to adjust but otherwise lovely lasted me a full hour

Today an oxymoron itself: San Luis Rey Regional Cuba, an expensive cigar that cost half of the monthly salary in Cuba, so sold in Cuba but not for that market.

Delicious, well balanced and with great Cuban taste.

Mag 46 last night from a 2016 cab that i noticed had a dogeared leaf - straight into the smoking singles it went! Upmann have not put a foot wrong with me lately, this was a really tasteful smoke with clear transitions: spice into cream into wood.
