    H Uppman no 2.
Finally a cigar from my stock without construction issues!
Burnt well all the way through.
Thin mild smoke with grassy notes but not as much as a Trinidad.
Not really the flavours I like so won't be on my repurchase list but very glad it didn't turn into a nasty knotty stinker.

Are you supposed to post a photo?
It's a medium brown cigar so nothing special on the looks front plus it's a pile of ash now so can't go back

As you've been here almost four months I guess that's a poor attempt at irony

Tonight a thought i would venture down the NC road, and smoked one of my Secret Santa Gifts a Oliva Serie V - Melanio Gran Reserva No. 4.

I must say this cigar looked impeccable, and i am seriously considering the possibility that Oliva employ an 'ironing' team, as the wrapper was silky smooth - even the veins were flat! The burn was faultless, the draw was rather loose - though from what other folks say on here i think this is typical for NCs The smoke was voluminous, and so thick you could stand a spoon in it (hell, you could stand your entire cutlery draw to attention, if that's your thing). Flavourwise, the first half was heavy spice, and the last half introduced leather and pepper into the mix - with a few sweetened notes to cut through the full bodied flavours.

I enjoyed this little pocket rocket. Would i buy a box, probably not. I am a sucker for a Cuban with the twang, and the lighter more nuanced flavours. However, this was a great change of smoke for me, and i would certain have another single or two if the moment was right
