Por Larranaga Magnifico - a cigar that lives up to it's name! My first try of these and want some more! I got this one from the LCDH Teddington when they were first released and couldn't help myself this evening. Not a strong cigar but the flavours were to die for. A mild hint of coffee with cream at the start, going into leather and marshmallows then an almost black cherry vibe at the half way point. The second half was toasty (wholemeal) with a waxy walnut profile, I removed the bands when it was time and burnt my fingers on the nub

The Magnificos was an excellent smoke when it came out last year. I was gifted one by bnelly at a Bristol mini-herf last year and it was the stand out smoke.

Havent seen them on the usual UK cigar sites, are they getting rare?

Yes very rare...

I believe that all the boxes of 25 are now sold out in all retailers and you can only buy them in their Ltd Ed humidor, approx price ?1,400 +...!!!

While out on a walk today I bumped into this old chap of about 70 years old enjoying a Cohiba Esplendidos. Got chatting to him and he told me he has 2 cigars a day for the past 45 years. His current sticks are the Esplendidos and everybody's favourite SD4. Fantastic bloke, hope to see him again.
