        Common sense is not a gift, it's a punishment as you have to deal with everyone who doesn't have it!

            [QUOTE=SHAMZ84;378278]How was it?

            Sorry for the delay in replying! Must have been a bit squiffy...Yes, a good stick. I took care when I lit it as I know these big figurados can suffer from uneven burn. Good draw, no plugs and burnt evenly all the way down..Very smooth, with not much going on in the first third - light to medium strength with some nice woody notes. The second third, the strength built up to a medium I would say. Some floral notes but more wood and sweetness, a bit like the smell of cedar in a humidor to be honest. The third continued at medium and some spice became apparent. Certainly an impressive stick and the total smoking time was 2 hours 40.

Both look like interesting smokes, and I look forward to trying them...

              It was an Especiales from the 80's, now discontinued. Hope you enjoyed Oppo?

                Indeed I did Simon. It packed quite a punch for an aged stick, and was very enjoyable. Hope you are having a good break and have time to fit some good sticks in

                    Indeed 3hrs minimum, my last was timed at 3hrs 15 so allow plenty of time so you don't have to rush the last 1/4.
