Good draw, no plugs and burnt evenly all the way down..Very smooth, with not much going on in the first third - light to medium strength with some nice woody notes. The second third, the strength built up to a medium I would say. Some floral notes but more wood and sweetness, a bit like the smell of cedar in a humidor to be honest. The third continued at medium and some spice became apparent. Certainly an impressive stick and the total smoking time was 2 hours 40.

I?ve pulled out a couple of special sticks from the depth of the humi for this afternoon...An early 1980s Upmann (a petit Corona I believe, but happy to be corrected) gifted by [MENTION=13371498]Simon[/MENTION] Bolivar and the other, a 1998 Partagas Lonsdale that has been ageing forever and a day. Both look like interesting smokes, and I look forward to trying them...

Thanks sounds like a lovely smoke....someone on here recently had one and really enjoyed it too...I've got one...just need to find 3hours of peice to smoke it.

Indeed 3hrs minimum, my last was timed at 3hrs 15 so allow plenty of time so you don't have to rush the last 1/4.
