    Ramon Allones Hexagone
    French 2016 Regional Edition
    Box Code: ALO DIC 2016
    Size: 140 x 54 rg

An impressive box of cigars in a 10 count box. Intoxicating aroma coming from the cigars. Picking one out, the Cigars have a dark wrapper with few veins evident. Well rolled and feel full. Stored at 65 Rh.
I cut the cigar with a straight cut using a Palio cutter. The pre-light aroma has hints of leather, and some chocolate undertones..
The pre-light draw is easy with no resistance.
Upon lighting the cigar presents the leather straight away. The draw is easy, and the cigar produces a great deal of smoke. Strength and body are medium for the first third, with some hint of spice being evident on the palette. The retrohale gives a pleasing hint of nuts..
Into the second third, the cigar grows in strength. This is a cigar to enjoy after a good dinner certainly! The leather remains consistent and the spice grows as the cigar is smoked down.
Into the final third the cigar has become full bodied and certainly was giving me a fairly strong nicotine hit. The spice remains evident until the finish.
This is a very young cigar of course, and I am smoking one now to establish a point of reference for future sticks once aged. The blend has a lot of potential and as the blend settles, I am sure more nuances and subtlety will become apparent. They are too young to be smoked consistently at the moment but have high potential. I look forward to seeing how these Cigars develop over time. They are certainly worth seeking out to try..I shall give them six months to a year and then try another...My best wishes to you all! Rupert
