Just smoked my first Monti Open Master that I acquired on my recent trip to Bruges. Quite different from other cigars I've had recently no pepper and very smooth taste which didn't really alter much. It lasted about 45 minutes which surprised me as it is quite a big cigar. Will definitely enjoy the rest if they are similar.

Ramon Allones Gigantes today. My go to smoke at the moment. Toasty, wholemeal, malty. Washed down with Speckled Hen and episode one of season 2 Narcos.

It smoked well - no hint of pepper, heavy on the woody notes, and a slight spice.

An easy, lazy sort of smoke - it didn't blow my taste/mind, but it worked for a mellow afternoon!

Construction was also great, which just added to the easygoing experience!

I love the RA Gigantes. I?m a recent convert to Narcos too now that I have Netflix! Great series!

Your pallet will hopefully pick up more! Look forward to seeing what you make of them

I trust that the cigar is as good as the afternoon’s sport was.

Indeed it is Marc. It was a good lesson and I certainly learnt a lot!

Yep me too Sludgie. So these have over taken your love for Punch & SLR DC's Barney? Personally I prefer the RA but these moments to enjoy each one, just finding the time!
