Glad to hear, the UKCF will be represented at the Cenotaph this morning Moteyi; anyone else going? I'll be watching the BBC coverage from the warmth of the Brent Charlie Sickbay

So now lit up November COTM. Looks good. Nice chocolatey wrapper. Not too rough not too smooth. Well filled. Good draw.

Quite a bit of spice so far. Had a bit of a hole in one side this one and well you can see how it's burning. Hint of a nice flavor there somewhere.

Let's see where it takes me...

        (Update)

Made itself a nice little ash holder by the end. Spice throughout, that's about all it has to offer. Whether i puff often or not. Pretty consistent throughout. No changes. Just put itself out. Will relight once more just to nub it.

Great to be able to join the COTM this month!

RA Andorra. Had to butcher it with the perfect draw. Didnt produce much smoke for the first inch, was going to ditch it and then it opened up. Typical RA flavours, fruity and pleasant.

A chilly Remembrance parade this morning even in my Navy wool uniform! Changed into something a little warmer, and enjoying a Cohiba Piramides Extra IMG_1626.jpgIMG_1627.jpg

HdM Grand Epicure (2013 LE) - Holy smokes, this was a delight! Without sounding like a pretentious dreamer, the flavours reminded me of a dirty chai latte - rich coffee, cream, spice, AND LOW AND BEHOLD I FINALLY GOT TO TASTE CHOCOLATE IN MY CIGAR!

[N.B. - this may have been a case of proust's madeleine...]

Construction wasn't great (off burns that needed correcting) but with flavours like that i couldn't really give a damn (sorry Hoover, sling your hook!)

Sounds interesting. Would love to try one but it's the only Hoyo LE I don't have any of.

Excellent choice Sludgie, glad you had a good parade, I didn't make it - stuck at sea.

Picked up some QdO Secretos from Wigan, thought I'd give one ago today, whilst watching the Grand Prix. Think these will age nicely - if they get the chance. Would be an interesting regular line @ regular line prices.

                        Charatan corona.
For a mild cigar this was quite nice.
Good construction great draw and pleasant soft smooth smoke.
I prefer a lot more body and flavour but this might suit those who like a mild smoke.

Glad you didn't mention the race, I'm waiting for the highlights tonight as I've been working all day. :-)

Hi McDee, that's a long time fav of mine; bought my first box of 2001 in 2003, from a Tabac in Calpe, Spain. In those days Spain was the cheapest place in Europe to buy Havana's, walking's hadn't yet appeared but small cupboard like Humi's were in the better shops, other places just had them on the shelves next to the fags! Cost E6.5, hope you didn't have to pay too much more?
