Would you say these are representative of a typical SLR profile? I picked up a couple of these at the beginning of the year in Barcelona but have not tried one yet.

'09 H.Upmann Magnum 50 for me tonight. These are absolutely superb with a good bit of age on them.

Is that the Grandes and, if so, how are they smoking?

I?ve half a box left to work through.

Yep, my bad, it?s The Maestros I have.

Sounds like I need to start smoking them then.

Thanks for taking the time to reply [emoji106]

Connie A this evening (2015) - i noticed a scrappy looking one in one of the cabs when i was sorting them, and my hopes were not very high. However, it was a truly delightful smoke, and reaffirmed why I not only love an Upmann, but also why the Connie A is one of my top smokes. Love this stick!

                      Alex Bradley Nica Puro.
Had to smoke slowly as it got harsh unless kept on the edge of going out.
Also had a tar ball half way down which was nasty.
I seem to be getting more than my fair share of poorly constructed or tar ball / cyanide tasting cigars of late. Half of the cigars in my last order have been poor.

Common sense is not a gift, it's a punishment as you have to deal with everyone who doesn't have it!

I'm sorry but I'm really no specialist of the SLR marca. I've only had 4 or 5 so far. I liked the stick but haven't been blown away but it was much better than the one I had earlier this year. Will revisit in 6 months or so.
